One Sided Conversation

I'm speaking more to myself than anyone else.

Hopes and dreams will stay only that, if you don't do something about it. Sometimes, in order to achieve it is to sacrifice something. It could be anything, be it time, money or even a 4 year degree. Let's write a story. Of what? You already know what, you've already started writing it. It's just time to sprint to the finish. Complete your thesis of thought, your dream journal.

what's your major?

money yes. time yes. 4 years degree, dont be too sure about that. u never know when it comes in handy. 4 years knowledge 'embedded' in your brain. its part of you now. unless u undergo the memory operation in 'eternal sunshine of the spotless mind'. nevertheless, it can 'depreciate' ;P

id say sprint.

pinknerd - i'd like to think that my major was something quite relevant to the world. sorry for being vague haha.

anonymous - not too sure about discarding a 4 years degree? i find the experiences built around that time more valuable so maybe the degree can go in the backseat for a while. that's not a problem.

i doubt any major were irrelevant to the world -it's precisely why they're majors.

so, what major is that?

hi pink nerd. your statement intrigued me.

"i doubt any major were irrelevant to the world -it's precisely why they're majors."

I humbly speak as a person who knows not much, that I believe, they're majors because of how 'we' perceive the world to be. The relevance of an array of majors were not realized until years and years later when people themselves respond to the importance of it. So to me, the relevance of majors are quite subjective. I don't feel they were created because they're relevant to the world. I feel they exist because 'people' think they might be of some relevance to the world, but mostly to their needs+wants.

I may be wrong. But that's just my two cents worth. :)
